Does anyone have a Canon EOS 450D camera?
I'm thinking about buying my first DSLR at the end of the month, and from the research I've been doing it seems the 450D is probably my best choice.
I understand its not the top of the line EOS, but for what I'll use it for, it will be more than enough camera for me, at this time. The EOS 50D would be better, but at twice the price, I'm not even considering it.I like the fact the 450D has a built in flash, whereas the 50D doesn't.
I've read on a bunch of websites that Canon is planning to introduce a new model, the 500D sometime soon that will be a step up, but that is just romour.
I've looked at Nikon and Sony too, but from all the reviews I've read online, thy just don't compare to Canon.
If anyone has a 450D, or knows about them, I'd be glad to hear your opinions on the camera.
And how much do they go for in Korea? Just curious. I imagine a bit less than in Russia.

Yeah, AFAIK the 50D has a pop-up flash. Really, I'm not in a position to offer you advice as I'm only a beginner myself - I went a little lower than you and have the 350D - but would point you towards a Korea-specific guide at the Metropolitcian.
The good thing about being in Korea is that people upgrade their equipment all the time, so relatively unused stuff is available everywhere. |

Although im a Canon user, i will recommend that you take a look at the Nikon D90. A Nikon D80 also is better priced with a good quality.
Its better to start first with an entry level, old model cheap or even used dSLR, then learn and maximize it then by the time you know so much, invest your money into a better one. But dont forget that the lens is the more important factor here. Save your money for a very decent lens.
There are so many postings in Buy/Sell/Trade section regarding used dSLR in case you are interested. |
