I took a few minutes to translate some of the common things we look for in food labels. I don't speak Korean but these seemed to jive with the labels well.

I should have taken it with me to E-mart to day when I saw a W350 sports bar. Looked good and convenient for long rides...Complete with transfats. Trash.

carbohydrate 탄수화물
Fat 지방
Protein 단백질
Saturated fat 포화 지
transfat 트랜스 지방
Fiber 섬유 (I'm not positive on this one)
Potassium 칼륨
Calcium 칼슘
Magnesium 마그네슘
Sodium 나트륨

I could do with a translation of flavours for packaged foods like ramen. I'd like to be able to distinguish between chicken and eel flavored, for example!

I'm not terribly gullible but, is there really an eel flavor? Is so, why does Korean food packaging seldom seem to have an image of some of the contents? For example; those little triangle Gimbap things. I love those but I am allergic to shell fish. If they are out of the "red" ones at GS I can't risk another color.
