texass,

I agree with your comments, and actually I tried to bargain with the guy selling the Sony. (Haven't heard back yet though. hehe)

I also agree that people on here would try and low-ball, but since there aren't going to be many relatively new PDP/LCD tv's for sale on here, I'm thinking it will be possible to find somone who wants it.

Anyone have any comments on playing computer games on PDP's versus LCD's? I'm talking low-quality gaming for the most part, such as just yahoo games and stuff like that.

Thanks for the comments.

Most of the games on PS3 and Xbox are 720p, so having 1080p isn't that big a deal for games.

From everything I have heard, must people say that LCD's are better to play games on since plasmas can get a burned image. But from my exp. the new generation plasmas are a lot better than the generation 1 and 2's they would burn or get lines a lot easier than the ones nowadays. I like plasmas because they have the softer look. LCDS are sharper but I noticed in HD they look to sharp.

Just my opinion.

Jake

Plasma burn-in is rare nowadays. Even if you DO get a burned image, it can be fixed simply by leaving your TV on for hours.

Color me stupid, but wouldn't leaving it on for hours exacerbate the problem?

If you have a static image, then yes. If its a moving image then no. Read the link I posted.
