my last day of work is the 27th of Feb
I want my letter of release to be dated for the 28th of feb so its before my March 1st new job start date
my employer says that since the letter is dated feb 28th that they cant pay me for that day!
Is that even possible? I don't work on saturdays anway! Does that mean they will try to shaft me on severance? |

Your boss is a dork. What's the last day of your contract? |

You can't actually begin teaching your new job until Monday, March 2nd. So, if your last contract day is Saturday, February 28 just get the letter dated March 1st.
Your boss is a big jerk. Sounds like he might try to cheat you out of some money any way he can.
Rat blastard. |

Immigration might not care anyway. They might only be concerned about your last teaching day of your current contract.
What is, I'll ask again, the last day of your current contract? |
