There used to be a website with all of the Elementary-level lesson plans translated, but the site moved sometime last fall. Does anyone know where to find translated versions of these plans? |

The (translated into English) GEPIK elementary school English lesson plans have also been published in a book. I had one when I worked in GEPIK. You might want to ask your school for a copy. I used the book a lot more than I did the on-line version, but that was because I had "intermittant" Internet access at my former GEPIK school. |

Your "intermittent" internet access sounds like you had to pay 500 Won each time you wanted to surf the net. It just sounds funny the way you put it in quotation marks. |

Thanks for the website. I found the plans after a bit of searching... but they're incomplete (I was looking for the 3rd grade plans and there is one for lesson 6 and lesson 7). I thought for sure there was a place where every lesson was outlined.
I guess I'll just ask the other teachers in the area if there are books I can borrow. |

No, I never had to pay any money for the Internet at that ps job. When you work at a Korean public school you don't have to pay for the Internet. It was at a GEPIK elementary school, which I will not name. The Internet used to crap out periodically and the local POE blocked the Korea Herald, too.
I think I saw the translated pdf's for the Korean elementary school curriculum on D Deubel's site, which I think is www.eflclassroom2.0.com. |
