|
|
I plan on extending my visa for 30 days after my ARC expires so i can travel around korea. I bought my ticket for the 30th day back to canada, does anyone know if EPIK will pay for my return airfare back home 30 days after the contract expires??
in the contract it says 10 days after your ARC expires, but i can't extend my visa without a flight ticket - so i'm not sure if they will pay for my flight home?!? |

As a start, get a executive resolution in writing asap. w/o that, it remains a guessing game and you remain w/o agency. Evan a negative disposition gives you something to work with. Good luck. Keep us posted! |

They won't pay for your flight because it's booked more than ten days after you finnish your contract. |

Just buy another REFUNDABLE ticket leaving within 10 days after finishing contract. Once paid, get a refund. |

Isn't it true that they won't pay until you have left the country? So, you must leave within 10 days? Then they'll deposit the money into the account of your choice. . . |

Yeah, they deposit the money into a korean account after you've left korea. |

As I understand it, they'll deposit it into any account you wish, local or international. Don't take me for a fool. I don't have the details, but have a general outline that I have not yet had confirmed formally, but only by round-about discussion with others who've been frustrated or not by the process I've described.
Owing to the abuses of some of our teachers, and owing to a hyper-bureaucratic school board, we may indeed have to wait until we have confirmed leaving the country within 10 days before the school will wire us our money. This may be incorrect, but it is possible and likely true. |
