Once again Korea, you've left a sour taste in my mouth leaving this country. Even though I completed a year, you refuse to give me my severance. Last time I got fired in my 11th month.
Goodbye Korea, and good riddance! I hope you continue to slowly rot from the inside out. You truly are a country that is a steaming pile of runny dog shit splattered all over the baking sidewalk on a hot, steamy July afternoon.

| The refuse, because they changed my contract start date to March 13th, so I'm 2 weeks short of a full calendar year. The new teacher has already started, and they wouldn't allow me to stay 2 extra weeks. They did this on purpose so they wouldn't have to pay me. |

how do they change the date on your contract?
you have a copy of your contract with the correct date, right?
surely its illegal to amend the contract after so many months |

| check your contract again. I know mine says my severance is owed when 'the contract is completed' NOT 'after one calender year'. it may be the same for you..... |

| If someone changed your contract, I guess without your knowledge, why don't you take it to the Labor Dept anyway and see? Just check 'one more time.' |
