Can anyone recommend a decent english speaking dentist in the Seoul area to pull a wisdom tooth. The tooth is basically all the way in but it chomps on the back of my mouth sometimes which is really annoying. Ive heard it is really cheap to have this procedure but i have also heard some horror stories. Thanks for any insight. |

why yes, I can.
Now I can't remember the name of the place, but it's in Itaewon, right opposite the Hamilton Hotel, if I recall correctly it's got a blue sign, and it's up on the 3rd/4th floor. Daewon Dentist... maybe?
I got 3 of my wisdom teeth pulled there, and the total cost came to under $60 including x-rays and all the drugs they gave me. The dentist also gave me a prescription for Valium after I asked for it. He speaks good English. |

Thanks for the info.
Do you know what dentist hours are like here? Do they work evenings/weekends? What was your recovery time like if you don't mind me asking? |

The best English speaking dentist in Seoul -
(well I thought the service was excellent)
MongChontoseong Station (pink line number 8 )
take exit 3 (and as soon as you exit the station you will be standing in front of "Dunkin Donuts)
the dentist is on the third floor (above Dunkin Donuts)
Open times (9am ~6pm) and Saturdays 9am~1pm
Clinics name is "Seoul Herb Dental Clinic"
Its best to phone them and make an appointment
(02) 425-2875 The girl who answers the phone will ask you to wait (when you speak English) and she will fetch the dentist who speaks perfect English..
I went there because I was also having "bad" service at other dentists who couldn't understand the pain I was in
This dentist was kind, friendly, and very professional.
He will certainly be able to fix your wisdom tooth.. |

my recovery time was short. I had one tooth pulled on a Friday, eating fine by Monday. Two weeks later I had the two on the other side of my mouth pulled, again the recovery time was very short. Are you getting all of your wisdom teeth out? |

recovery time can vary from person to person i think. My recovery time was closer to 2 weeks. I had 4 pulled at once and it was excutiating after the initial drugs wore off. I was only eating liquids for the first week. |
