Who knows how many murders are not properly investigated and labeled as a suicide. Korea, generally, seems to be a safe place. I don't feel threatened over here, but I don't trust the justice system here at all.
I hear it is very anti-foreigner. |

Plus, in some places, infanticide(defined as the killing of a baby by its mother some time before a specified cut-off point) is classified as a separate and less serious crime than murder.
I believe that's the case in Canada. Not sure about Korea, but it's just one example of how the definition of murder might not be uniform across national borders. |

Because obviously no other countries have groups they'd prefer to exclude from certain statistics. |
