Think about it for a moment, look at what has happened in a short month:
Hillary stabs Israel in the back
Holder considers gun grabbing
Bank nationalization is becoming a reality
Health care is being socialized
There is serious talk about regulating broadcast content
congressional redistricting/census is being taken over to solidify power
Im doped up on soju and thats all I can remember off the top of my head, but thats whats happened in less than a monththis has to be some sort of Dali-esque nightmare or something. This cant be happening in the same nation that was forged by citizen soldiers who assembled at a minutes notice on the town squares of Lexington and Concord, and who froze to death in winter quarters at Valley Forge, and suffered defeat after defeat but fought on in the name of freedom and country..it should not be happening in the nation of the Alamo and Gettysburg and Yorktown and Saratoga, I refuse to accept it! But too many brave men, better men that I will ever be, have sacrificed their futures to make this nation what it is..the land of the free and the home of the brave.too many have given their all for me not to do SOMETHING, ANYTHING to preserve what they died for. We must do something, be it getting active in our local parties, or running for office ourselves, or harrassing the shit out of our so-called representatives. Soon it may be too late. |

your kidding right? Bush led this nation into a war under false pretenses, authorized torture as well as an illegal wire tap program, politicized the justice department, and destroyed our economy in the process and when ever anyone tried to ask any questions of Bush rove or cheney in any form , you know how congress is supposed to check the presidents power, they just snubbed congress off as "executive priveledge"
So Bush is perfectly worthy of criticism lobbed at him..
now compare that.. what has Obama done in his first month?[/quote]
Quiet hippy, When we want your opinion we will tell you seriously. There is no more racism in America either. Jessie Jackson can't be wrong. Thanks, go back to smoking your ganja now hippy.

""I don't believe he's my commander-in-chief," said Maryland resident Kathy Fuller. "People are afraid. I'm buying durable goods, because in five years there won't be companies to make them and inflation will be too high to buy them." Fuller added that the GOP is not "the party of 'no,'" and does have constructive ideas -- but, she said, the mainstream media keeps them from the public.
Judging by the protesters' suggestions, those solutions include cutting taxes and spending. As for Fuller, she says that if things continue to get worse she was prepared to do whatever's neccessary.
"Revolution, absolutely," said Fuller."

The Tea Party demos are perfectly legitimate expression of citizens' views. No problem. But illegitimate president, media conspiracy and revolution? |

Is it just me, or does it seem like all these nuts have just been itching to pick up with their "disenfranchised white people" routine from back in the Clinton days???!
Its like, its now time to get back in character after an 8 year break.
Nutty militias will start getting media attention again, of which they got none while Bush was loafing. Didn't you notice that? They seemed to fall off the radar completely since 2000. Why? Think about it. |

You people are (a) crying wolf; and (b) given your side's treatment of W. Bush and all of its histrionics and hysterics, for eight solid years, you are doing so very hypocritically.
Besides, partisans have used "revolution" continuously since the Revolution to state their cases, rally their supporters, and prosecute their political campaigns. I could go back to the T. Jefferson administration. But how about N. Gingrich's Republican Revolution in the mid-1990s? How about R. Paul and his supporters this last presidential election?
In any case, take your chill pills. I just heard R. Limbaugh speaking before CPAC. And he was saying that we need to take back our country, and the way we need to do this is to nominate the right candidates in future elections, etc., etc. You people, on the other hand, sound like a mob of frightened, screeching women... |

I guess the idea is that white far right people are more dangerous than white far left or brown far anything. I don't know if I agree. Was it far right people that killed John/Bobby Kennedy (sorry regicide), how about the two half-assed attempts on Obama thus far (Somali and Ethiopian muslims). If he is harmed, it will be a muslim.
The Oklahoma city and abortion dr.s work against me here. And the ALF, Seattle Battlers etc work for me.
Either way, this is a "liberal media" (Salon, etc) trying to freak the country out about the conservative half. Fun to watch, really. |

Given that these people are self-identified conservatives, it could be they mean the Agricultural Revolution or even the Industrial Revolution when they say the word 'revolution'. Somehow I doubt it. It is much more likely they are talking about the Sexual Revolution:
"Eight of the top 10 pornography consuming states gave their electoral votes to John McCain in last year's presidential election Florida and Hawaii were the exceptions. While six out of the lowest 10 favoured Barack Obama."

People might enjoy Stephen Colber's take on this Glenn Beck thing.
Here's the link...go to the very tail end of the first segment, then the whole second segment.

On an entirely different topic, you might enjoy the interview with Steven Johnson on the March 5 episode on the man who 'invented' air. |

Sorry, your side's turn to take it now.
Your side called our side's president the Antichrist for eight years, called for his impeachment, imprisonment, or worse, in increasingly hysterical tones. And your side went on and on and on and on about this, on multiple fronts and on multiple channels and venues.
Partisan hacks' hyperbole is a bitch, no? |
Dude, shut the f___ up. Nobody called Bush the Antichrist. Moron, a$$hole, braggart, intellectually devoid, childish, mean spirited, thuggish, criminal, belonging in jail, war criminal...yes, he was called those and with a fair degree of merit.
You stood by and said nothing when "my side" was called un-patriotic, enemies of America, was spied on and given illegal wire taps, had journalists arrested. You said nothing but wave your flag and mind numbingly chant: "Four more years!" You said nothing while regulation after regulation was stripped from the government, leading us to the catastrophuck we're in now. You said nothing while all the teeth were pulled from any regulatory body still intact. You said nothing while Cheney and Bush ran roughshod over the "goddamn piece of paper" (their words, not mine) they considered the Constitution to be. You said nothing when innocent men were tortured to death and illegally imprisoned in our name and supported with our tax money. You said nothing when pristine wilderness was being thrown to the oil companies. You said nothing when Haliburton, Black Water, and all the presidents cronies, sycophants, and supporters pillaged both Iraq and stole billions in tax payer money from the US government. You did nothing but say the truth hurts America when Abu Ghraib was exposed and scandal after scandal occurred. You said nothing when that a$$hole in charge goaded our enemies by cavalierly smirking, "Bring it on." You said nothing to try and hold those accountable for the decision that's led 4256 to their graves and countless others to wheelchairs, asylums, and the streets as money wasn't properly provided post traumatic stress or treatment for their brain injuries. You said nothing while real wages actually decreased under Bush due to the soaring cost of health care. You said nothing while Brownie did "a heckuva job!" You said nothing as attourneys were fired for political reasons. You said nothing while a sitting governor was prosecuted for political reasons. You said nothing when "yes men" were promoted and competency and the truth punished (think Gen. Shinsekee).
But now you're courageously willing to speak and challenge the administration? Bravo, good sir. Bravo. |

I gave Bush a chance and I supported him for the first couple of years of his Presidency. All the way up to post-war Iraq. When it became clear he was keystone kops-ing the whole thing, i gave up and turned to the opposition. I may not have agreed with everything they said/did in opposition to Bush, but they weren't the ones who cajoled, fear-mongered, and persuaded us to go into that lives and money pit called Iraq.
President Obama hasn't even had 50 days and people are going on and on and on with this childish tit-for-tat BS. "They said it too!" they shout completely ignoring context. I say give President Obama a chance to fail or succeed before going apoplectic over him. |

Limbaugh (and Beck) got their on-air talent on loan from God...
Evidently they neglected to make timely payments, and it got reposessed (so all we're left with is caterwauling by a couple air-heads...) |

But now it is real, Mises. Chuck Norris is involved. And he wants to give up his job as Texas Ranger to become the President of Texas.
CNN even shows a picture of him talking on the phone! OMG! We are way past talk-radio and cable-news people now! |

Excellent analysis of the situation.
And I agree that this is nothing new...it's been going on for a while. Presidents from both sides have been attacked by partisan hacks for years before Bush. |

They are both war criminals. They are also both puppets. |
