Anyone know of gyms in Seoul that have pools you can do decent laps in? Or what are the best gyms in Seoul? |

What part of Seoul do you live in?
In east Seoul I know there is a pool in Lotte World and one in the local park district building in Seongnae-dong. I'm assuming that other "-dongs" in Seoul have similar gym/pools. Other than that, there are some in the larger hotels near City Hall and in Walker Hill. |

The only problem with the lap pools is most of them are usually crowded with adjumas standing around running their jaws. You have to find out when the off peak time is for the pool and try to use it then. |

'Lap' pool is a non-existent term in this country. It's free swim all day everyday, everyman for himself. |

I know of one near the Pangi subway stop. It seems to require a fairly expensive membership, though my korean is poor and it could be a yearly rate and thus much more affordable. |

i know of one near Seollung Station in a gym there, but for the life of me I can't remember the name. it's in the Champs Elysees building (try say that with a Korean accent!) in the basement. |

Seoul Sports Complex has a 50m pool. It costs 4000 won per visit. Men can swim between 1pm-4pm. There are ajumas standing around, some of them walking, and some of them swimming, but it's not bad. There are rarely more than 3 people to a lane at 1pm. |
