Hey everyone
I'm new to Seoul and not being able to speak basic korean is driving me nuts...and i have rubbish personal motivation to learn from a book, so i was wondering if anyone knew of classes in seoul?....cheap classes would be nicer. I'm going to check out a free class that's on next Sat but i'm keen to do a few evenings per week to get up to speed faster.
Cheers

I'm doing night classes this month at YBM in Jongno. Not sure what it'll be like but I took classes at Yeoksam YBM and they were OK. |

If you want a 1:1 private tutor, you can contact me. My wife is Korean and right now she teaches a few students a week. I'm not sure where you live in Seoul, but if you are at all interested, just shoot me a PM. |

Thanks for your replies. I'll check out YBM to see if the classes are still available to attend.
How much do you charge for a tutor?

I've heard Yonsei is Korean-style education; in other words rote memorization and grammar with none/very little actual practice speaking. This is what I've heard from people who've taken the course, but I haven't, so I could be wrong. |

KFCC runs free Korean classes at City Hall once a week (2 hours). They're pretty good, though I haven't taken the beginner ones. |
