These are both lenses that can be bought used quite cheaply( <$100US; check ebay) and are an excellent value considering the amount of money you put into them.
The 50mm 1.8II is my favourite of the two because its a fast lens and I like to shoot in low light using only available light. The 18-55 works just fine under the circumstances most people would shoot in the rest of the time.
If you were looking to spend around or just under $200US for two great starter lenses this is what you want to buy. |

like what Golem had said, this is a good starter lens kit. Both of which are very very fresh. Both are less than 3 months old. I used only for a couple of times. The reason why im selling is because i have other lenses and i dont find any use for them anymore.
I dont intend to profit, so will accept trades.
If any of you plans to buy a Canon SLR, save some money and buy the body only and ill offer these 2 lenses to you at a very reasonable and cheap price. Both lenses includes UV filters |

would you take 80,000 for the Canon EF-S 18-55mm? I already have the 50 mm so I am not interested in it.

I was just doing a bit of surfing and what do you guys know about the Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro? From one website i saw it seems like a pretty awesome lens.

The only reason I am asking is you mentioned you wanted to trade for one Arvin. |

yeah Jake im planning to trade my other lenses in case someone is interested. Though at this time, i prefer to buy a used one.
Ive read lots of good reviews about the 100mm F 2.8, and since i will do only macro from time to time, i guess a used one is ok with me.
I havent tried buying a used one, thats why in my old post before i asked some guys here some tips about going to Nandaemun for example and how to deal with the sellers |

This is the shop up in Nandaemun that i bought 2 of my lens from.

I went with a korean buddy of mine who owns one of the local photo shops in my town. And they actually have a guy that speaks english there. A korean with a pretty deep aussie accent to be exact.

the shop with the aussie guy is good hyusung camera, or something like that. they don't always have the best price though. still need to ask around. |
