Just curious what everyone's going to do for their first lesson of the year.

Shifting office tomorrow next to the English zone or in it. Will find out tomorrow when I get to the fourth floor.

First class will be introducing the new co-teacher. (Kids know me) and going over the rules. RESPECT!

Is that what it takes for him to get angry? Sorry to offend him, but his tone was not just loud, it was practically yelling. Maybe I shouldn't have posted the message. My point wasn't to call him out, it was to state that raising your voice at immigration, or telling someone on the phone that you're going to punch them in the mouth so that 100+ people can easily hear, is not going to improve things. The people at immigration can be tools, but they didn't screw things up for him, it was his employer

My school has an assembly where I'll be 'introduced' :s - the plan for this week is to do intro with the students, ask questions, talk about where I'm from, the basics.

I think I'll put on my suit and intimidate the grade 1s (middle school). After the ceremony, I may find out who my new co-teacher/handler is and if she/he can speak Englishee... who the hell knows? Wink

None for me today.. I think. I was told "maybe not" when I asked if there would be any classes on Saturday. Oh well, going to continue sitting in my office on dave's until someone talks to me. I'm hoping the 2nd new temp coteacher is actually here today! All I have planned for first week is intros, seating charts, and rules.

I haven't officially been told yet, but I'm assuming I have no classes today since they haven't worked out my schedule yet. My co-teachers usually like to take the first class of the year anyway, which makes sense since my class is more complimentary to what they teach rather than a separate entity.
