I've got some significant time to kill tomorrow at the airport. About 10 hours...before my departing flight...

What would you suggest doing...those who know the area? I've heard there's a jjimjilbang, there's a nearby casino or two, maybe a temple visit...

Suggestions?

Is it worth taking a bus to Incheon city proper? What is there to do?

thanks!

i sat there for about 5 hours the other day

you could mess around in the Duty Free shop, take a nap at Dunkin Donuts, walk around, call the guy who scheduled your flight and cuss him out for scheduling it at 8 AM when you told him it was too early and that you were going to miss it

nice to see a reply from a fellow Heel...

i've been there so many times, that i've grown tired/bored of what the terminal itself has to offer...unless the jjimjilbang is worth a visit. i'm guessing it's quite pricy...

While i've never had to kill time there, the casino idea sounded like a good time killer. I can sit at a min. bet blackjack table for hours and stick close to break even.

Lounge access.

There's also a really nice 2nd floor transit area. Awesome playground area for kiddies. A small museum, and reasonably priced massage.

It's a fantastic aiport apart from not having any nice bars you can just chill at. There's an expensive (by Korean standards) cyber cafe between levels.

But with the new airport express train, why not just hang out somewhere quickly accessable by subway (like say Bupyeong) and arrive an hour or two before the flight leaves?

don't pay for the net. I found a free computer cafe with super-comfy chairs. It might have been in the main terminal, or perhaps that new one, I can't remember.

I think there are two... one at each end of the departure wing, if I remember correctly. But yes, they are super-comfy and you get to play with sexy Sony Vaios or Macbooks. Mr. Green

Also, check out the cultural centre that lets you make traditional Korean crafts for free.
