Why not make your own? It's very easy and you'll find a billion recipes on google or tastespotting.com |

tzatziki is easy enough to make. Hummus I think you need a blender, or a mortar and pestle and a case of beer.
I have made tzatziki here, and it was pretty good.
Damn, now I'm craving too.... |

I have a rip off of the magic bullet blenders. That would be find for making hummus. Will I be able to find chic peas in Incheon? |

Don't know about Incheon but they're readily available in Itaewon in any of the middle eastern type markets. Head for the mosque. |

Getting good food in Korea is like getting drugs in other countries--you need contacts and a supplier.
I'm sure you can get hummus from one of the mediterranean restaurants in Itaewon.

there's a Greek takeout place in Hongdae near DOs Tacos but I dont know how good their tzatziki is. |

If I were you, I would make it myself. It would be much cheaper. It's not hard to make hummus. I have never made hummus before, but I am sure I can handle it no problem. I have seen it made many times. It gives you a lot of protein. You can buy garbanzo beans quite easily.
You will only get a small amount if you do take out. It's, basically, pointless since you won't get a large amount of the stuff.
I love hummus.... I love it when it's very garlicky. I also saw a recipe for curried hummus. That's something I've never tried. |

Petra's (up the hill and around the corner from Pizza Hut in Itaewon) has take out dips like hummus and baba ghanoush and they also have really fantastic home made flat bread  |

I made hummus all the time in Seoul, very easy.
You need:
-1 can of chick peas (I bought them at the foreign food market in Itaewon)
-Roasted sesame seeds (easy to find at any local grocery store, Ottogi makes them)
-Sesame oil
-Garlic
-Lemon (or lemon juice)
-Salt and pepper
The sesame seeds + sesame oil will be the tahini.
Just mix two tablespoons of sesame seeds with a bit of sesame oil, put in the blender. Then add everything else. Voil�. |

Chick peas and garbonzo (sp) are the same thing. You can also make humus with almost any kind of beans, chiefly white ones. You can use great northern beans for example, it is very good. I have also used pumpkin. It comes out organish but the taste is awesome.
Tahini calls for roasted sesame seeds. I take it you may have seen sesame in Korea (it is everywhere). It is easy to roast them. Take a dry pan and lightly toast them, that is your base for tahini
If you want to use chick peas/garbonzos you can get them at any of the Asian stores in Deagu, Asan, or Seoul. |
