I need some papers notarized. Is it possible to do so there. I am assuming it's possible.

I signed an affadavit there in front of a consular official, but notarization may be slightly different...best call them and ask.

No, but if you're just getting your passport renewed, you can pay something like $50 extra and skip it.

i went to the canadian consulate in busan and had documents notarized. they were 23 000 won each.

Yeah, I did the same thing in the consulate in Tokyo. About the same amount, too (2000 yen)

Now, how do I get to the Canadian Embassy in Seoul? What subway stop is it near? I am going to go soon.

City Hall station. The embassy is located behind Deoksu Palace.
