I have been searching for two used bikes for the last couple of months, haven't had much luck either here or on craigslist or korea4expats. I did find a used bike shop near Sindorim, but not really too in love with the idea of forcing a bike on the subway for several transfers to get home. Anybody know of a used bike shop in Incheon, preferably as close to Yeonsu-gu as possible?? I am wanting a bike more and more each day as the weather improves and would appreciate any info. |

I've not seen a used bike ship in the area and it smacks in the face of the local way of doing things. But where do the bikes go I wonder
There is a pretty good shop on the road that goes from the intersection near E-mart to the area near Lotta Mart. There is a good coffee shop next to it too. Anyway, ask the shop about older bikes. They have new old-stock in the basement and the prices were pretty good. They are not as cheap as an e-mart bike but they are better in quality and assembly. If you are paying from an American credit card that can give the impression of a better deal for yourself.

thanks for the response, I've been by that bike shop several times but they cost more than I am looking to spend (at the moment) Every time the sun comes out I add 10,000 won to my maximum price. There is another much smaller bike shop between the big and little Lotte Marts, near the fire station, he has a pile of used bikes out back, but every time I start to look through them he comes out and yells at me. Many of them are beyond repair, but a couple look pretty good. I don't know, maybe I'll just go by and try and chat at him again. |

Perhaps he's trying to chase you off because they're stolen bikes and he thinks you may narc him out on them?
That's some pretty odd behaviour. |
