In The Groove magazine a month or 2 ago, there was an ad for an English-language house cleaning service.

Does anyone have that ad handy? If so, can you post the telephone number and/or website from the ad?

Does anyone have any experience with that agency?

Cheers, BB

It's 010-7723-MAID

I haven't used them but was going to over Xmas to look after my cats when I was away. I called them and the lady told me I'd have to pay a one off 100,000 "fee" first and then pay by the hour. I thought this was ridiculous because I only wanted their services for a week and she said she'd halve it to 50,000 but I ended up not using them. She said the fee was to pay for their advertising.

All the Filipina maids speak English and most only deal with foreigners due to lack of Korean, fwiw.

QUICK QUESTION (2)

1) if I get a maid when is the best time to get her to come? (IE. can we trust her that she wont steal anything if we leave her alone in the appt?) should I get her to come while I teach during the afternoon? or should I be there?

2) I signed up on nannyjob, made a profile. what do I do now to get them to contact me? do I make a post ? how? in my profile I said I was looking for a house cleaner in daejeon

I know a good house cleaner. Her name is Bhel and you can contact her at 010-8399-01six0

She's married and has children so she can do it all. Cleaning, babysitting, etc... Very nice woman. Give her a call if you need a English speaking housecleaner. She lives in Gwangjin-gu in Seoul.

She charges 10,000w an hour.
