Sorry but no PM privileges yet. Not a member long enough for that. BUT...I do have a guitar I've been thinking about selling that just may be of interest to you.
It's a vintage Hohner solid body in like-new condition that's more than 20 years old. I forget the model number right now but I can let you know that a little later.
It's was a prototype and is very rare. I was attracted to its history as well as its looks.
It has a natural blonde finish, and a sort of neo-classic design - not exactly Stratish but not exactly Gibsonish - perhaps it's a fusion of both styles.
It IS a rather nice guitar, and it comes with a decent gigbag.
If interested, I can arrange for you to check it out. So let me know. |

I'd be interested in looking. How can I contact you?

| I'm in Seoul, so if that's not inconvenient for you, why not give me a call at 017-351-1090 and we can arrange to meet up. |

Sorry, I'm unable to reply to a PM - not enough postings yet. But anyway, here's the scoop...
Currently, I don't have a photograph. I wasn't actively looking to sell it, but when the opportunity arose I simply ante'd up.
For me, taking a picture is the same effort as simply showing it as I'd have to take it out of storage to do either, and right now I'm overwhelmed with other more important details I need to attend to, so at the moment, this isn't a very high priority for me. But I'd make the effort if someone was willing to drop by.
Were someone looking to make an appointment, I'd dig back in my storage and take it out, and get it ready to show, but until then, other things always seem to demand a greater amount of my attention.
If it doesn't sell here, I'll eventually post it on eBay - which is where I bought it from in the first place. But if you're in Seoul or plan to be, and you'd like to arrange a look-see and/or and audition, I'm sure we can work something out. Short of that, I'll try to get around to getting it photo'd, but that will likely take a few days at least. So I'll see what I can do.
Thanks again for your inquiry though, and let me know if we have any basis to proceed. |

It would be great if you could tell me the model number. It's possible for me to come to Seoul if I knew if it was a model that fit my needs.
Thanks.

I guess I entered this thread prematurely. I wasn't prepared with enough details to satisfy inquiry, and I'm just too involved with other important matters that consume virtually all of my time at the moment.
Perhaps I'll be up and running on this and post it for certain in a few weeks - after I make some headway in all this stuff I'm engaged in.
I've also made an error in that it's an acoustic electric, not a solid body, so it's probably not what you're looking for anyway. As I mentioned initially, this guitar is a prototype that never went into real production.
The model number is written by hand in ink pen, on a paper Hohner label attached inside the soundhole. It was details like that, that interested me in this guitar because I collect odd and unusual things.
I think you'll be best off going in other directions. I'm sure you'll find something you'll like.
Sorry for the bother. Good luck in your quest. |
