Hi all

I am off to Busan in a couple of weeks for a long weekend with a few mates from Ulsan. Everyone has said get a Love Motel as they can be cheap and fun. I have looked at a few Korean search engines and found loads of good looking places (tourist hotels are such a rip off) and will probably just turn up and book though its for my girlfriends birthday so it would be nice to hear of a few recommendations of cool love motels.

Has anyone stayed in a motel that was particularly good i.e. Jacuzzis, plasmas and so on?

Any names/recommendations would be great (dont worry about the numbers and such Im sure they will be easy to find)

thanks!

I don't know about jacuzzi, but I did hear from a friend who told me about the love motels behind the Sasadong bus terminal.
There's one called Venus Motel that has computers in the room and from what I heard there's a VHS collection as well.

Haeundae is a nice area, with tons of motels. I stayed at the Noblesse; 60,000 or 70,000 (don't remember) for their mid-range room. Really nice with a jacuzzi, two computers, projection TV, all kinds of amenities.

Down near Haeundae many of the motels have the amenities listed on a banner outside the hotel---or you can see pics of the rooms on the side---so if you can read hangeul you can see jacuzzi, big TV, internet, whatever.

I think you might have seen this post where I give a few online directories. Some of the motels in Busan look great. The Busan W for example:

You can browse motels around certain subway stops here:

Excellent cheers for all the Info. I did indeed read your post about motels Brian you have a great blog by the way.

It looks like we will stay near Haeundae as we are doing the shark dive on Sunday morning at the aquarium. The Noblesse and Busan W look awesome so will check them out. Was planning to walk the motels but its nice to have a few recommendations under the belt.

Also just found the Translated search feature at Google which helps! Is funny how so many western teachers told me love motels dont have websites (obviously they think websites in korean dont count it seems) a search in Korean listed about 40 in Busan alone!
