Just wondering, are there any goth events/clubs I could check out in South Korea, particularly near Seoul/Suwon? You'd think that a country that places such a high value on pale skin would have goth pubs on every metropolitan street corner, but I can't find much of anything on the net. |

finland had plenty of hot goth girls. Everywhere EXCEPT the US has skinny atractive girls. Heck big American cities have attractive Goth girls. Only small town, Walmart wearing pleather freaks in the back of the bus are fat and ugly. |

I duno...Maybe it's a Canadian thing, but in the U.S., growing up in the punk/hardcore scene, there were always hot goth girls.
Now, if you mean the marylin manson hot topic girls, then i'd agree about your statement. |

Seoul Noir!
Saturday, October 25, 2014
Halloween is coming, and what better way to celebrate than with some old and new school spooky music? Pull on your fishnets, fish out your corsets, and bring those latex pants out of storage: a goth night is coming to Seoul.
Location: Orange Tree in Haebangchon. To get there: take subway line 6 to Noksapyeong Station. Go out exit 2 and walk straight for about 8 minutes. Take the first left into HBC (past the kimchi pots) and walk about 3 more minutes. Orange Tree is by the first intersection on the right, second floor, above Good to Go.
7-9: the legendary Simon Upstone spins old school goth
9-2: DJ Spectre spins darkwave, EBM, and industrial
Drink specials: 4,000 won basic mixers from 7-10, Drac's Delight shots for 3,000 all night long.
Dress code: formal wear, costumes, or just plain black.
No Cover!

Sadly, the Cure Pub in Hongdae closed a year ago (on the same day The Cure came to Korea for a show). The owner, Chris, met Robert, and then the day after, the place closed.
Gothy ending.
