I never trust the accuracy of IQ tests. I had a high school course where the teacher gave us two IQ tests one week apart from each other. On the first test, every student scored between 150-200. On the second test, no one in the class scored above 100.

Definitely flawed. How could Newfoundland be 100?

That must have been a typo. I think it meant 10.0.

Doesn't 70 or less mean retarded?

The tests used weren't the same and the way they were tested.
Korean IQ test: Are you Korean? yes? +30points Rolling Eyes

Also, if you gave a multiple intelligences test here, I'm sure there would be many here that would fail a creativity and extended logic test.

This is just retarded and anyone who would use this study in a rationale argument, is in the -70 range on the intelligence scale.

First off most countries have a different scale in how they determine genius. I know in Canada that magic number is 160. In America its something else and I'm sure other areas of the world it is as well.

Secondly, the tests are all very, very different. Some might be focused on learned knowledge (studying facts, dates and numbers) while others focus on pure logic, reason and intuition. There is no way to properly gauge and compare world IQ levels, especially given the screwed up methods that this survey utilised.

Yea, its the first number that came to mind. Since its impossible to get a negative number, obviosuly I'm making a blatent overexageration to emphasis my point. Dont trust a survey or statistics unless you know how they structured and delivered their survey data, who they are sampling from and the questions/process of gathering that data.

As the aged old joke goes "80% of all statistics are made up."

I wonder what the difference in IQ is between rural and urban Korea. I'm guessing it's at least 10 points. I doubt that a survey of all the village idiots around where I live would break double digits.

I think you should ask your students how many think that playing basketball will make them taller, therein you'll find the answer to your question.

IQ tests are like GMATs or TESOL tests. You can practise and practise to get a high score because the basic patterns are the same.

I scored pretty high on all IQ tests I've done, but I don't believe them..haha.

I can verify that from personal experience...took an online test once and was disappointed in my lower than usual score...took it again and my score went up 25 points!

I think this wiki map proves the superiority of East Asians, especially Koreans.

When you take us over, please remember my grovelling toadyism, and allow me to have a position high up in government administration.

I for one welcome our new overlords.

Read IQ and the wealth of nations by Finnish author Tatu Vanhanen.

Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) is pretty accurate and is used in Government and private company HR schemes.
