Can't stand them. On top of that, mine is PINK.

Can't seem to find a hard plastic, normal sized toilet seat anywhere. Anybody have any luck?

Funny. Those padded wonders tend to get splits in the vinyl that pinch, too.
Check your toilet before investing in the new seat. If it's a tiny round one,
you may end up with a great comfortable seat but your equipment still may touch cold porcelain or dangle in the drink.

i've been to two emarts this year, and to a few last year and haven't found the normal sized seat. they have plastic "U" type seats, but mine is "O" type (smaller toilet, more round then the U type).

i'm gonna find one, sooner or later, but hate to spend time hitting up the big marts (even the smaller ones) only to come out emptyhanded.
