My wife has pestered me for weeks about taking her some place fabulous for White Day; she resents the fact that I forgot about it last year. I don't view White Day as a legitimate holiday, but we just got paid and I'm not afraid to pony up some won.
We've been to all the popular haunts in Itaewon, Gangnam, etc. Where should we go? Some place nice...romantic...with seriously good food... |

Try "The Bear House." You'll find information if you search for that name translated into Korean.
It is a refined mountainside log cabin above Sungshin Women's University Station, definitely unique and for the price, better than what you'll find in Jongno or Gangnam. |

If you're wanting SERIOUSLY "fabulous" food and not afraid to cough up some won then Pierre Gagnaire at Lotte Hotel is fantastic. They do a set lunch for 120k which is knock-yer-socks-off good:

White Day is stupid but well, I'll recommend a host of places in Itaewon like Antonio's, My China (try the chicken with cashews, it's AWESOME!), Pattaya and La Plancha. |
