To the people that have seen Watchmen, did you have people walking out when you saw it? There weren't any walk outs at mine but I could sense the crowd wasn't into it. At the end of the climactic scene on Mars when the music starts a heap of people got up but there was still 30 odd minutes to go.

How bout you?

Never will see it, but I felt this way five minutes into the epic D-war.

My gf hated it and I could see she wanted to leave. Mind you, I had to sit through the epic turd that was "He's Just Not that Into You", so what goes around...

I thought it was great. Way too violent though.

Two couples walked out. I was with three friends and I thought it was a good movie. I noticed at no point did the Korean crowd laugh.

When the 'you are in here with me' line was delivered they all stared at us with puzzled looks. This happened a few times.

I watched it in Bangkok and a few people walked out before the end, they were probably expecting the same tired old superhero formula ala the Superman remake.

I personally loved the movie, though yes it could have been 25mins shorter.

I think it will be considered a great movie, in time. But one of those ones that people say they love but never really watch it or enjoy it, eg The Godfather. I was kind of drunk at the start then got sleepy through the middle and perked up towards the end. So a repeat viewing will probably pay dividends for me. Also, reading the comic right now. I had read the first two so recognized a lot of scenes.

No one walked out of my theatre either. Of course there were only six people there to begin with.

Laughing So is this movie recommended? I read the book years ago.

A few people walked out when I saw it. I noticed at least two people leave right when the bombshell was dropped at the end. Seriously, there were like five minutes left.

It depends on why you are going to the movies. If you read the book and liked it, but don't have too much invested in it emotionally you should like it.

If you are taking a K-chick for a hot date, steer clear! Wink
