In Canada we had a guy very similar to Palin. His name was Stockwell Day. I'm sure some nuts still love the guy, but I do not take that as a sign of anything other than Canada has loons. Ditto for Palin. She's a complete moron and a demagogue.

I'll bet you get a kick out of watching CNBC and MSNBC and other leftwing media outlets chortling over this young woman's fate, don't you?
It's inexcusable, really, to mock her given that she has taken responsiblity for her indiscretion by actually having and taking care of her baby, unlike a lot of other would-be mothers. And even the man she is estranged from--the father--plays his part in raising her by Bristol's ready admission.

No class is trotting them out on the campaign trail at the RNC (assuring all of their imminent marriage), then complaining months later about the "invasion of privacy"--they were good enough for national-stage politics when it suited Palin's purpose.
Can't have it both ways.
Bottom line: Palin et al continue to look like fluff because they are fluff. |

During the convention, I was wondering how much money Levi was getting paid to sit through that shit, or if he was just basking in the publicity of being the Player of the Year.
He still has the Bristol tattoo on his finger to deal with, but he can cover it up with a big pimp ring. He's earned it.
