Just letting you all know they hiked up the price on the ipods here.. 8gb is WELL over 300k now. So I think you'll eventually get offers of 180k or more.

If the 2nd Gens are selling for over 300,000 then I wouldn't sell the 1st Gen for anything less than 70% of the cost of a new one.

It isn't like the 2nd Gen Touches are heaps better than the 1st gen. They are practically the same thing. Its got volume controls on the outside. Big deal. I don't think that little feature is worth an extra 100,000w.

The Ipod is still available.

I looked into the jailbreak on the Gen 2. It's really not the same as the jailbreak on the Gen 1. Seems more technical and only a few people have had success doing it from what I've read. The Gen 1 is definitely more sought after, more expensive and harder to get.

I also posted on Craigslist and got the usual flakes and out of town Nigerian scammers. Is Korea an easy target for these people? I never got these when I posted stuff in the states.

I usually refer to Amazon for reviews and prices on electronics.

It works perfectly, so I'm not planning to sell it for less than 120 dollars US. I would rather give it to a friend than sell it for 70$.

Seeing that Gen III will be announced in September, how much would a new, in the box North American purchased Gen II 16 GB go for here?
I brought it with me from the states last month, but I bought a Cowon at the electronics market which seems O.K. for me w/o the hassle of the propietary stuff. Might be wrong about Apple products, but thats my take.
