5 Minutes ago one of my students came into the teachers lounge with blood pouring out of his eye socket. Some kid punched him in the eye with his glasses on and cut his eye lid really bad. Looked like a crow plucked it out. Poor kid, hope he doesn't have any sight loss.

Shit - the worst I've seen at my school was one really weird, 99% angel 1% psycho kid who scratched the face of a younger student who was teasing her.

Those types of things usually happen at the beginning of the year when new students haven't sorted out the pecking order, yet.

One teacher said it was a fight, but apprently the students were just "messing" around, and that it was an accident. Shocked Nonetheless, the poor chap is going to have a sever impairment I fear. It looked like it was on his eyelid, but who knows about the eye itself. The left eye was just gushing out blood. Everyone was kind of in shock for a second than gave the poor chap a big waud of tissue.

Not sure what's going to happen to the kid who did it. Confused

Could have been a sucker punch. Usually people with glasses defend the eyes first.

Quick-thinking co-worker: 'Here, have a tissue.'

That rule is way old-school. I never had the pleasure of it being applied to me. In fact, despite being decent at sports as a child I had more than my fair share of balls thrown at my face.

Back in 2005, one boy died in in a fight at a public school in Busan. Something similar happened at a school bus stop in Georgia a few years before: one boy slugged another and hit him in the head in "just the right" place, very hard, killing him.

We just had a kid go apeshit in fourth period. Threw his desk, chair, bookbag, and a garbage can across the room. A couple of students got dinged up, but nothing serious. The boy is beside my desk now doing 500 pushups. (100 a day till hes done)

Yesterday a boy and girl were playing some stupid game where they did rock-scissors-paper and then the winner got to slap the other across the face. The boy won, and the girl started whining and crying that he hit her, and wanted me to punish him.

Sounds like the first five seconds of Une Chaun Andelou. Did a cloud pass through the moon like the slicing of an eye with a straight razor

Two drugs this country new are Ritalin and Viagre. The Viagra is so they stop eating dog.

Make sure he gets severely punished. Kids did this to me when I was young and it fucked me up in the head. Don't let it happen to another human being.
