I have a couple of Korean Music playlists that are good for an introduction into the music.

I really like BMK - a great Korean singer.

I was a big fan of Kim GunMo when I was younger. I'm convinced he was putting out better, more original music 15 years ago than anything that is being produced today.

I do find alot of it catchy. Especially that Girls Generation song called "Gee". Lacks quality and originality however.

K-Pop is essentially the garbage that they spew on Western mainstream radio...only 100X worse.

Kind of like that movie "multiplicity" just a copy of a copy of a copy..with the end result being just utter garbage.

If you'd like to hear a hot track, check out Freeze. It's T Pain feat Chris Brown. Not Korean, but it's good.

yes - a lot of it is garbage

I don't even listen to U.S. radio or pop garbage - I was bred on classical, medieval, renaissance, excellent melodies and rock of the 70s, traditonal Appalachian, Irish, bluegrass, etc., etc.,

however, there are SOME catchy melodies, voices with heart, nice orchestral arrangments, beats, piano - all scattered in there - lots of good musicians

pick and choose like everything

I enjoy K-pop because if I have to be bombarded by mass produced shite, I'd rather only understand a few of the words.
