				| Can anyone confirm or refute this? A coworker told me there was an article in the Korea Times online that the law has been changed and E-2 visa holder can now have a second job with out employer permission. I tried to find the article, and went to the immigration web site but couldn't find it. He said the Korean government had decided it was an unfair/ discriminatory practice to have different rules for E-2 visa. Sure would be a refreshing change, I've felt like my E-2 was a form of indentured servitude.

				| No you still need permission from Immigration and your employer who is the sponsor of your visa.
 Your friend is confused.

This only makes a formerly illegal practise legal.

But your employer who sponsors your visa (E-2) will still have the final say on this. You can't just go teach elsewhere on your own without permission. That would be a private lesson and therefore illegal.
