|
|
Samsung PAVV 40" (LN40A650A1F/W) purchased in late May last year so it's less than a year old. The picture is beautiful. At the time I spent 1.9 M Won, more than the average price for an LCD of that size because this particular TV is among their higher end models. It is full HD 1080P, 120Hz with a 3ms refresh rate, 70,000:1 contrast. With my Blu-Ray player it looks amazing. Also included is the Indiana Jones trilogy DVD box-set that came with the TV as a promotion. It comes from a clean, non-smoking apt. A price check about a month ago priced this model at 1.75 to 1.8. I'm sure that will be corrected if I'm wrong. I bought the wall mount rather than the stand. I can help transport but the cost is the responsibility of the buyer. Don't worry about scams. I won't request money until the TV has been delivered. I live in Anyang.
Jeff's Cigarettes - if your offer of 1Mil still stands it's a welcome offer but I would like to post this for a couple of weeks to see if someone may offer a little more. Hope you understand. |

The included discs are they dvd or blue ray? Are you also looking to sell your blue ray player as a bundle with the Pavv?

The discs are dvd, region 3. I was actually thinking about throwing in my blu-ray player but there is one problem. Region 3 dvds-no problem and most of my blu-rays will play without fail but a couple of titles (The Police Reunion Concert for example) load only half the time. I don't think it's a mechanical issue rather a firmware issue but I don't know for sure. I've updated it with the latest firmware from Samsung. Perhaps a few more bugs need to be worked out. But yeah, if someone wants me to throw it in I'll do that for a reasonable price for the entire bundle. The machine will also upconvert dvds by the way. Will not play region 1's though. **Note: For those who don't know, Blu-Rays are not as region specific as dvd's. They are region encoded but Korea and North America are part of the same region unlike dvds. All of my Blu-Rays have been imported from Amazon in the U.S. and play just fine on my player.

I would like to know more about your TV.
I sent you a PM.
But can you answer the following.....
1) Do you know how much it would cost for me to get a stand for the TV?
2) Should we assume you're including the wall mount?
3) Do you have any wires that come with it, for example to hook up a laptop?
4) Do you still have the receipt?
Thanks |

| Yes, the mount is included. Yes, I have the receipt for both the tv and the blu-ray player. I'm guessing around 200K Won for a stand. I remember inquiring at the time but I knew it was going on the wall so I didn't make a mental note of it. An HDMI cable is included with the blu-ray player but I can't quite remember if the TV came with any. I found a new component cable in my junk drawer but I can't remember if it came with the tv or the pc that I bought around the same time. I'll find out. I don't think it did come with any cables but I have all the manuals and documents that came with it and I'll give everything a thorough check. |

So just to be clear, what movies come with the Blu-Ray dvd player? Are the Indiana Jones movies Blu-Ray? Are they in English?
Are there any other Blu-Rays in English that you have?
Also, what's the current bid on your TV? |

| The current bid is 1150K Won for the tv itself. The player is extra. I'm not selling any blu-rays with the player. The Indy Jones set is DVD not Blu-Ray and is region 3. All movies are in English with optional subtitles in Korean, English and a few others. In response to a question about regions - If you want to buy the player to start a blu-ray collection basically don't worry about regions anymore. Region A includes North America, Korea and I think Europe among others. Implosion, never used it for porn. I just use my laptop for that. |
