2nd owner, first a Korean

No time to ride so...

Pros:
~23000 KM
<1000KM on tires
heavy duty clutch plates and springs
stage 1 carb tuning + Kuryakyn intake + mufflers punched = go like wow + loud, and no aspiration issues
Progressive front fork springs
new battery, brakes
chromed front forks
high power headlamp
Corbin Gunfighter+Lady seat, Kawi backrest
properly maintained by me; Koreans don't do all the maintenance necessary (eg. checking/changing valve shims every 14K)
name of wrench in Seoul who can take care of most problems
all papers, printed/CD manual, and receipts, and insurance agent name in Seoul that speaks English (cost around 170000/yr full, unlimited liability insurance)

Cons:
some blems on the chrome
paint chips on rear fender and gas tank
right side panel has scratches from working loose during a ride (my bad)
previous owner dropped it - evidence is scratching on front hydraulic oil reservoir - it rides straight and true though, so no problem with the frame
must have a Korean bike license

Hein Gericke Pro Sports S6, two-piece leathers
1997's, but fine shape with no 'burns'

around size 50 (I'm ~175 cm and they're a tad large on me)
HiProtec inserts in all the proper places (so you walk like an upright chimp)
Schoeller's Keprotec fabric (so you slide instead of loosing tissue)
heavy-duty zippers, liners, proper ventilation

4 Million Won and it's all yours.

No tire kickers please, and don't waste my time; be on time.
This bike is for experienced riders who want: get up and go + cruising + fair handling (not rice rocket handling).
I'll deliver, but you come to me for viewing/testing (I'm in Inchon).
You want to test; fine, but the asking price goes in my hand before you go for a scoot.

Seriously, you post the bike, but not the CCs.
Come on man, don't waste our time.
Not that I'm buying a bike or anything.
I'm just saying if it's less than 1400 CCs don't waste my time.
I just wasted time posting this.

Excuse me sir, but I happen to be one such person. 1400 CC is great for outrunning those cops in Heavy Seoul traffic.

I'm now convinced you have never ridden a large bike. Smaller bikes with agile handling is what is needed in Seoul if the cops chased you. They get through the small openings, not large bikes. And everyone knows, cops don't do jack in Seoul, much less chase people.

As to the bike, nice ride. But 4 million won for a ride that is 12 years old? Over 25, 000 kms?

Really!?

This is a nation of cash-strapped teachers now bro with the markets being crap and all. Not to mention that your bike is expensive to maintain, and is not very practical if it ever does break down, when it comes to repair. When you have a Hyosung or Daelim which can be seviced on the cheap, anywhere you may want to cruise in S.K., why would you want a foreign model?

Not trying to be a dick. Just being realistic.

Nice bike; not practical.

Actually, I think the bike is well priced given what I've seen on bikemart.co.kr and passo.co.kr.

I wasn't really disrespecting wes, I was being being sarcastic.

Sarcasm=to know it all (Red Hot Chili Peppers); no problem, I appreciate the bumps.

If you know your bikes, you also know:
- the '97 Classic came in two sizes, the larger having shaft drive, so looking at the pix would tell you the cc's, but still my bad in not including it.
- this ride's motor is rock solid, and good to at least 80000 KM's - do the research (http://www.delphiforums.com/ and type in kawvulcan, that's the premier site for Kawi Vulcans)
- upkeep is minimal - change the oil/filter and lube/tighten the chain (8000 won)
- this ride is for someone who wants to cruise COMFORTABLY, and plans on being here for awhile (a luxury).

I do most of my own repairs, have ridden for 35 years, and have spoken extensively with my mechanic in Chungmuro. In my, and several others opinion, this is one of the most solid rides in Korea.

I have owned and ridden a 1997 Suzuki Intruder thank you.
It was NOT Nimble, but COULD outrun pretty much anything.
I sold it long ago, in a galaxy far far away.
