Anyone notice it in stock there? I'm not interested in buying online.
Just curious if anyone has seen, or bought some from Yongsan. |

If your Mac is Intel, you'll find ram everywhere. Apple now uses standard ram modules (the ram that originally shipped with my iMac in Australia was Hynix, from here).
I know you say you're not interested, but I ordered my last chipset from gmarket. Sweet deal, to my door. It's worth a look. |

Thanks. I might try gmarket. I'm super worried about compatibility and was not aware of this standardization regarding intel.
If the chip you bought on gmarket was 2gig, and you have an extra minute, i'd really appreciate a link to it, or at least the manufacturer. |

| Just don't buy the cheapest no-name brand out there, and you will be fine. Many say that you get what you pay for with RAM. I upgraded my macbook with a company name that sold cheap quality RAM. You can check newegg.com for reviews on many different brand name RAM companies. |

I just upgraded the RAM in my imac...bought the Samsung RAM from one of the stalls in the lower part of Yongsan. It was simple...just look on Danawa for the cheapest price. Then write down the company's stall number. Go to Yongsan, find the stall, tell them the price you saw online, buy...takes 5 min.
As an aside, for Mac users. I also bought a second monitor for my imac. The mini DVI cord needed to connect the two was way expensive at the MAC store. Fortunately, though, they were out of stock anyway. So I looked around...bought a no-name brand in a stall near the place where I bought my RAM. It was a third of the price and works perfectly!

| you can also check Apples website for more information on what type of ram you can upgrade with depending on your model make and year. |
