Well, I am a little interested in this offer. I don't have a license here. I would need to get one somewhat quickly, and time is an issue. Can the paperwork be transferred without one should time work against this?

Any junk yard will give you 150-200k for it, no hassles, just need your ID card and registration paper. Most junkyards will even come to your house to pick it up.

A guy I know says he got 800,000 from a junk yard for his Carnival. I thought that sounded a little high, but what do I know?

Correct, for old diesels you can get up to 1.5 million won. Even for the crappiest old cars like the Sonata 1s, Esperos, Lemans etc. the junk yards give you at least 150-200 because they export the parts all over the world.
