anyone know where i could get either a hydroponic gardening set up, or a shop that i could peicemeal one together? i don't have a balcony or space outdoors to grow veggies but i do have an extra room in my apartment...as space is a premium here, i would think hydroponic gardens would be used much more but i have yet to see anything like them
i've seen a cheap plastic tray at lotte mart to grow sprouts but i want to grow tomatoes, peppers, lettuce...stuff like that.
i'd need probably 4 to 8 5gal buckets (or something similar), perlite, an adjustable water pump, some tubing, a lamp and some nutes...
anyone have any ideas? or will i have to get things shipped from the states? |

Seems like it would cost more to produce it yourself unless it's a unique produce not offered by Korean entrepreneurs, but that could be a foolish endeavor as we recently seen in the news. You can buy really cool tropical plants like orchids and tiny fruit trees in Korea, but need a South Window that gets good sunlight to support it. In the schools, they die to the cold and lack of bright sunlight.
It would be nice to have a yard, have a garden, and friends to invite for BBQ's in that green beautified space. |

heh. yea i was expecting some wiseass comments.
nope, this is just completely legit indoor gardening. by grown things yourself you can control what goes into and onto anything you produce. i've heard koreas have a propensity for layering their plants with pesticides and fertilizers...indoor gardens also help to control pollutants in the air of the house. with yellowdust season coming, i figure its another benefit to an indoor set up.
mostly just trying to find out if there is anyone familiar with growing veggies indoors in this country. |

No one. Not in Korea. Not in any other country. |
