Holy cow! What should one do? Just stay indoors? I don't guess that'll help. |

The dust isn't in Seoul yet. Your lungs felt like they were trying to turn themselves inside out because you're out of shape.
To be honest, I've never found the yellow dust to be that big a problem. Sometimes I'll come home and my wife will say, "The hwangsa was really bad today wasn't it?" but for me the whole day was sunshine and rainbows. Maybe my chest and throat aren't particularly sensitive to it. It is said that it's a health risk though, and people with breathing problems should probably avoid outdoor exercise on days where it's heavy.
(The bigger problem for me, and many others, is pollen season. That's real yellow dust - on cars, on windows, around the edges of rain puddles. That stuff hits a lot of people pretty hard.) |

Robots highly lubed joints may become jammed with cooling fans gunked up causing an overheating issue. Does this call for tomorrow or Wednesday being a yellow dust pollution day off? I've read on the internet this happens due to China's polluted desert growing in size each year where pollution attaches itself to each molecule of yellow dust making the air unfit for human consumption. Makes me think of Dune or some science fiction where we travel to a world ruined by it's former inhabitants due to the air becoming unsuitable to support life as a result of their huge overlooked mistakes. |

Many orange dots today, a few red, and even a couple dark red dots on the Eastern coast of Gangwan-do. |

Crap! Now that it's warm, I was getting ready to haul the kettlebells outside this week. Guess I'll have to wait. |

Ugh, can't wait to see what this will do my sinuses that started up Friday.
This isn't like spring pollen in the U.S. south, right? That stuff is pretty fierce - gets so thick it makes my black car look yellow. |

Because they're gluebags.
I think it's time you took a sick day. Blame the yellow dust and open windows.
