Hi everyone,

I am new here, so please dont flame me yet!!

I was wondering if any of you have ACTUALLY gone under the knife here? Where do you recommend going where the doctors aren't pigs?

I am thinking of getting a little lipo done on my legs.

Any advice thats actually helpful is good.

Wish I could give you info, but haven't had anything done. Just giving you a bump so someone else might see your request for info.

Breathe deep and duck for cover.

Just make sure you are comfortable with the environment.
I had ingrown toenails fixed in K-land, and they lay out newspapers under the foot to soak up all the blood.

I've not had cosmetic surgery done in Korea. However, I've had cosmetic proceedures many times. Just simple laser and such.
I do know of two different people who've gone under the knife and were happy with thier results.

Most righteous site, Dr. Love. Thanks. You are affiliated in some way?
If you're in Suwon, Ajou University Hospital is absolutely state of the art.

Thanks Dr. Love!! Very Happy

I had an unfortunate situation at Jelim clinic- the married doctor pretty much propositioned me. I wont get into specifics- the whole thing still makes me really angry. . ..

Anyways, thats why Im looking for a respectible place to go where I willl feel comfortable. Thanks all!!

I wonder if saying that a doctor at such-and-such a clinic propositioned you is grounds for a libel/slander case in K-town...

I know a Korean woman who had her jaw bone shaved to get the 'small face' that Koreans seem to covet. It cost her a couple of million and she was sore for a week after. I didn't want to say, but there was hardly any discernible difference.
P.s. Is 'gotten' a word?

Our Center is a member of this 35 hospital group that is actively promoting Korean Medical Services abroad.

Many hospitals here see a lucrative future in the field of medical travel.

Yes. It's the American past participle of the verb 'get.'

Listed in this order: simple present, simple past, present perfect, past perfect

British and Australasian English: get, got, have got, had got

American English: get, got, have gotten, had gotten

I didn't know that. I've heard it before but I thought it was an antiquated term like 'whilst'.
