Was it from one of those wood fire roasted chickens near PNU?

Man those were great. Next time eat an extra one for me. I sure do miss them. Never saw anything like that in Kwangju.
Man this plase bites the big one.

if someone out there isn't having a good time in cambodia, its entirely his/her fault.
That country is fabulous: the landscape is glorious: the people warm and friendly: lots of adventures to be had. Exotic, hot, full of surprises, full of charming, beautiful people: elephants roaming the streets, the majestic angkhor wat: the picturesque tonle sap: the outstandingly beautiful women, secluded beaches and islands, the mad and crazy lifestyle, the adventure of the unexplored north east..
I feel sorry for those people, in grinding poverty.. and the scumsucker foreigners there.. its a wild west.
A trult great country that to me stands alone in Asia.
But i won't be going back. i nearly lost my mind and my heart there, its the sort of place you might never return from, you can lose yourself out there. And i'd rather keep going..
This is a heartfelt tribute to that place, and its outstandingly spirited people, the khmer.
To anyone going, i envy you.. and take care of the country for me, and treat it with respect.

I suggest you avoid the red wine while there:
Quote:
FEBRUARY 7: A British national, Ackhaus Andrew James, 31, was found dead at 8:30 am at a guest house in O'Chhoeu Tiel precinct, Sihanoukville. Police have no comment for the death, but said he probably died from dizziness after he drank two bottles of red wine with his friend the previous night.

I have never heard a Korean or otherwise say this country is underpopulated. You and Forrest need to check with your students again. I live in Pusan. I ask my Korean friends, "hey, let's go to Nampodong on Sunday." Every one of them replies back, "er...no, it's too crowded." Ame with Haeundae Beach in the summer (nobody from Pusan goes there if they can help it) or Lotte Dept store (unless you're an ajumma in which case you're the reason why my grlfriend won't go there) on the weekend.
So, what you talking about you turkey

Actually, do a search, but the Korean government wants to offer money to couples who have more than two kids. No joke. They still want to keep crankin' 'em out without regards of where to put them, and then make other people foot the bill.

What Kwangju chicken says has some relevence here. In fact, the Koreans he talked to who say there needs to be more fruitful booty knockin' are towing government propaghanda.

You for got to add "jive: to the "turkey." Kinda works better in lingo.

They probably haven't learned how to blame it on the fan yet.

I would have to disagree. There are plenty of things that can go wrong in a Third World country that are outside a person's control (and therefore not their fault). Beautiful, yes. Safe, no. I am glad you had a good experience, but many other people have not through no fault of their own. You can't get your passport, your money, or your health back with a good attitude.
