I have looked around for a bit, and if there is already a thread on this, and I am sure there is, I am sorry.
but what the hell is the difference between epik and gepik? They are both public no? Is one better, most of the time?
sorry for my ignorance |

depends what you want and on the individual contracts. Some EPIK contracts for e.g. offer more vacation time.
generally speaking GEPIK is considered "better" by most FT's simply because it's closer to Seoul. |

I've been warned about going with GEPIK. Apparently there's more bs there. However EPIK does have some problems as well. However I've been paid on time and my contract has been held up to the T for the last 6 months. Even to the point of no extra vacation during break. So take it for what it's worth. |

The program Gepik used to be Epik. There are still a handfull of old troops who are from the old days when Gyeounggi was Kyounggi province. If you hang around the Seoul Pub you might meet one of those old timers. |
