Are there any Catholic Sunday masses in English around Seoul? I live in Changdong which is in Northern Seoul (where line 4 joins line 1). I hope to find one not too far from me. Thanks |

Thanks for the info. I'll check out myeong dong. Man! I didn't know this thread would get this intense! Just wanted to know where I could find a catholic church. |

Let me first answer the OP's question. Yes, there is a Sunday 9:00 AM English mass at Myeondong Cathedral at the line 4 subway stop of the same name.
It is a well-executed mass and the priest is a good guy. I go there sometimes, but since I work on Saturdays, it often ends up being a later mass, because I'm so tired after all week.

As to the haters...
Yeah blah, blah, blah. I don't mind having a serious debate justifying my Catholicism, but I want the other person to be at least my intellectual equivalent. This discussion is idle, derivative, and uninspired. Plus the OP asked a simple question requiring a non-subjective factual answer.
Care to mention the crusades and the inquisition while you're at it, ya tool? These three things are the usual unholy trinity for trolls who bash the church in ignorance. Sad thing is that most of them lead lives with no greater purpose than satisfying their own bodily needs.
To the haters, I'd say bugger off to the off-topic forum if you want to debate religions but they probably don't want you there either. |
