Mature adults or strong minded humans who wish to indulge in recreational drug use should be allowed!
Alcohol kills! Prescription drugs kill! Tobacco kills!
to those who abuse it! but what about the billions who dont!
Marijuana, ecstasy are great drugs, cocaine is also good...
I enjoy it when I am on it every time... have a blast!
I also enjoy whiskey when I drink it and Im out with my friends...
Do I wake up and drown a bottle of jack for breakfast? Do I come home and beat my wife and children on it NO... do I become a slave to the drink and let it control my life. NO!
Does tobacco control my life am I a weak human being and a slave to the nicotine NO!
I might have a cigarette or 10 on a big night out. Once or twice a year!
And I will smoke with the boys and drown drinks!
Might even have a cigarette on a Friday night if I go out and I am drunk enough... all drugs to me that means tobacco, coffee, class A class c drugs are all for recreation! USE IT doesnt abuse it!
of course some will fall victim to abuse it, its just natural! but they will fall victim if it was illegal anyway.. so why not make it legal, clean and available for the mature users..
LEGALIZE DRUGS! Its the only way to stop the war on drugs!
ok well at least decriminalize it.. |

The tax take from excise on just marijuana, would be enough to pay for all of the social problems of all other drugs. Plus the extra cash in the coffers, from not chasing growers and dealers(of weed), across the countryside.
It's an intellectual absurdity to continue to criminilise weed while alcohol retains some sort of untouchable status. |

And that is the best way to sell the legalization and regulation of marijuana in my opinion.
At least back in the West.
Convince the government (will likely have to start at the state and provincial level first) that there missing out on the tax revenues of a billion dollar industry for a product that you...
-can't overdose on
-is far less harmful than other drugs
-has genuine medical benifits
-and is a consumer friendly product as its side effects support the food and movie markets!
The governments stupid. They (the government) are a gang and they are just letting black market elemets have sole control over a billion dollar market without getting any of the cut. |

| Can you really not overdose on it? I mean, I know everyone is going to say, "You'd pass out before that would happen," but I think you could overdose on it. Your nervous system would probably eventually shut down if you were able to smoke enough in a short period of time. Like power smoking five joints in three minutes. |

| What's your definition of overdose? You could safely say no one has ever died as a direct result of smoking weed. Maybe vehicle accients caused by impairment but no poisonings and fewer intoxicated shenanigans, ala alcohol. |

Oh gawd, you could overdose with water or anything else too. Anything in large quantities can kill you. |

Ironically, the biggest roadblock to legalization for weed is probably parents...
The same people smoking it in their youth will be some of the first to smack the hell out of their kids if they find a bag of weed in their room.
It's sorta like the drinking age....once your over it, you hardly are gonna feel it's a moral imperative that 18 yrs. can drink in bars with you. |

I got a nice bong from Germany, but there is no weed here. Just keep it as a souvenir. |

North Korea has been caught trying to export meth. They also grow the a ton of poppies.
The Southern farmers DO grow weed for smoking. The quality is low. Just a tired yawny high. |

Well threads like this will certainly help get rid of the "Myth" that all foreigners are on drugs. Many pot dealers in korea ae working both sides of the street youknow, sell the herb tell the cops who bought the herb.
Discussing your desire to use drugs on a message board that is read by Koreans just helps to build hatred of foreigners in this country. So dont complain the next time a netizen complains about foreign druggies ruining Korea. |
