Do you have problems getting any of the DLC for games on your Xbox?

I tried to get the map pack for COD: WAW but it just gave me the message that it wasn't available in my region. I use a UK Xbox and Live account, it is a UK game too. I thought that would mean I still get all UK content.


Similar thing happened with Gears of War 2 flashback code I had in the box, but I suspected that was because it was the Asian version of the game.

Ever since I upgraded to the new XLE dashboard format, I haven't been able to access any DLC whatsoever. I can still play online, just can't buy anything.

Really? My XBOX is from Korea and I am able to pay and download for most stuff. As a matter of fact, I downloaded the GTA 4 add on, The Lost and the Damned.

as far as I can work out, there are some restrictions on downloading some of the DLC with 'mature content', so I think they are blocking IPs outside of your registered country. I have been reading up and it's people all over having these problems with the new COD maps.
i never have any problems buying and downloading arcade games and have been able to get other DLC.

I know that for awhile now MS has been IP filtering instead of trusting you to log in to the right country. so as long as your 360 is in South Korea you will not be able to get some content. i havent heard of anyone finding a way around this yet. sorry.

I use an American Xbox Live gamertag to download content and then play it on my Canadian gamertag. I have never had any problems. However, if you think it is a problem the solution is to configure your Xbox to go through a US proxy.

i don't normally have a problem. downloaded GTA expansion and gears combustible map mack just last week. However new COD maps and gears flashback maps just say it's not available in this region.
