Initially I only glanced at the OP, and yawned. Too lazy to read it all. Much too long with the usual tedious leftist-baiting we've come to expect from Stevie boy.

On proper reading, I can see my post above doesn't really make sense in this thread.

Nevermind.

Why would you be surprised by Obama's speech? I've never been able to distinguish much difference between the Democrats and Republicans. I'd hardly call the Democrats lefties. But I'm one of those bloody European sorts.

Even on proper reading, your posts usually don't make much sense, so what's the difference?

Of course, you see no difference either between Republicans and Democrats because so far gone to the left like much of the rest of socialized England.
