I've been a few times and have seen a large variety electronics store, and I know where the central shopping place is in the downtown train station - I'm wondering about other places -

specifically I'd like to buy a jpnse firewire external drive and a dv cam -

I know there's a mall across the street from the K consulate but don't know what kind of stores are there.

has anyone done some serious shopping in Fukuoka? do you have any suggestions? directions?

There are a couple big electronics outlets in the Tenjin area, just get a tourist map of the area and at least one of them will be labelled.

been to them - they are pretty general - I'll looking for something a little more specific
