Sorry, I've used the search function thoroughly...I'm on my way back to K and have been spending time in my home country, where, at least where I live, things are nonpunishable. I am straight as an arrow in Korea. Starting a new job, and there'll be a test. I've heard so many back-and-forth comments about the relevance of pos. THC. Does anybody know for sure what's up? thanks~

Please do us a favor and stay home. If you have to ask questions like this, you can't handle the responsibility. In other words, the answer doesn't matter, it's the fact that you had to ask the question that's worrisome to those whose lives are inconvenienced by people who are irresponsible with their drug use.

I really don't see what's wrong with asking for legal clarification. It sounds like your attitude toward marijuana is a little unschooled.

Why, not becoming a statistic, of course. The responsibility that every drug user has - keeping the wrong people from finding out about it!

I was told by the police that testing positive for drugs is the same crime as possession of them. I am not sure if it is entirely true but that is what a police officer told me. There were a few guys about 3 years ago that tested positive for narcotic substances (I don't know which drugs, they are all the same to me) they all got huge fines and jail time. Not a lot something like 6 months.

This is basically true, but only after you've taken that initial test.

Guys,

Seoul National University Hospital doesn't test for THC. Most places (from what I've heard) have stopped testing for this particular substance in accordance with the new (as in 'year old') immigration law. Stop your fussin'.
