Hi, My friend is visitng and he'd like to rent a scooter or motorcycle to zip around for a few days or so. He's here' for 3 weeks.
Here's what he says:
Quote: |
I'm an avid motorcyclist and want to experience the 2-wheeled culture of Korea. Back home in Canada I work for Honda and ride many bikes of all types and sizes. I currently own a 600RR (street and track). |
I'm near Wong-shimni. He's got my old prepaid phone, call him if you can help him out: 010 8062 2407. His name is Jonathan. |

He's gonna need an international license with motorcycle endorsement if he wants to ride anything over 125cc around. |

Bob covered the license requirement..
As for motorcycle rental, there really isn't anything official that I know of. Your best bet will be to ask around at your local motorbike shops and they may be able to arrange something for you. It helps if you have a good relationship with them already. If you have money lying around, just buy a cheap one off Dave's here and sell it when your friend's done with it. Depending on the timing, you may even make a profit!
(for ease of papers/registration, a 50cc would be ideal here...) |
