My coworker got this in an e-mail, and I thought it sounded fishy like they're doing something very illegal:

Sounds suspicious. It's likely just a scam. Were you actually repackaging packages you'd get to see what was in them anyway. |

dude, it's obvious. It's like the envelope stuffing jobs. You have to pay money up front to a company before you can start "work" and the "work" just does not exist..... one word (and a bad food product)---> Spam Filter |

They're shipping stuff from other countries to Korea, for example. It's a bit more than your average envelope-stuffing job. I wonder if you'd be setting yourself up for drug smuggling issues, possibly? |

Why the heck would anybody pay you 35 dollars to re-ship something that was already shipped to the country? If it's not a scam, it's definitely smuggling. Forward it to your local police station, and let them set up a sting. |

This e-mail was sent specifically to Americans overseas. It originated in Hong Kong. |

There are legit re-mailing services. Usually it's for people who want an address in a specific country. They exist in the US so you can get things ordinarily only shipped there. The package goes to your address in the US where the people there will send it along to you, wherever you are. |

Yep--I was thinking of getting one in the US; they can come in handy. |
