I know how to change the settings so i can type in Korean, but it's inconvenient trying to map where the keys are. Any suggestions? Can i buy some sort of Korean cover to go over my keys?

I'm also curious about Korean keyboard covers. It seems a waste to buy a new keyboard. It's always possible to get out the permanent marker .

if you are talking about a computer keyboard, you could just buy a new one in any a supermarket, its usually cheap. $20?

A number of stationery stores sell key stickers with both Korean and English on the pads. The main drawback to them is that they're all "cutesy" so it'll look like a middle school girl's pencil case.

Another option is to print the hangeul keyboard layout and memorize the position of each of the letters.

IMHO, the best option, and only costs you 1,000 won per hour if you do this at an Internet caf� or free if you do this at school is to use that cool typing tutor that comes with Haansoft Office. The games are fun, the typing tests are realistic, and the progress mapping is completely informative.

If you want non cute stickers for your keyboard, and you're in Seoul, Linkos at Coex has the stickers as well. I honestly don't remember how much they are asking. I'm thinking they were between 3 and 4,000 won.

change the language of your keyboard to korean. then use alt as a toggle switch. 한글!!! Somehow I memorized th location of all the letters. Just like in English. If you do it long enough you dont have to look at the keyboard. control panel.

If you change it to Korean language on your IME bar.. and then pull open the "Soft keyboard" under tools, it'll pop up a keyboard on your screen. I used that (stared at it while I typed) for a while.. I had to type up the names of all my 5th graders in Korean and eventually memorized the location that way.

I second just learning to type in Korean. What I did, after not finding a good Korean typing tutor program, was print out a sheet that had the location of the keys. Then, when I was studying Korean, I would practice typing the words. It helped with memorization of both the words and the keyboard. It comes really quickly. That's what she said.

there are the instructions. grab some stickers, go nuts.
I used to get my stickers on ebay when I was in NA, $1 a set.
