| My good friends and people I've bought and sold stuff with know my real name on this site. I wouldn't advertise my real name to all of the Dave's readers though. They don't need to know, and most of them probably don't give a damn either. |

There are some good replies. I figured on average people wouldn't care too much to admit they used the site, but I definitely think some would be less than truthful about there username. If only to avoid some 'internet tough guy' from starting an argument or worse, turning out to be completely crazy.
There are definitely some better known posters who everyone knows. Maybe you like them, maybe you don't, but everyone knows there name... or avatar at least. What a hoot it would be to run into some of you randonly out and about.

I was previously known as 'bejarano-korea' and met both online friend and foe from here and everyone I met was actually great company and the first meeting turned into some great friendships!
Basically - how someone acts on here is not a good parameter of how they are in real life!  |

Why did you change your nick?
For the record, I'd happily tell anyone I use Dave's, why not? I'd share my ID with someone I knew, or even someone I've known for more than a couple of minute? Why not? |
